Before Learning How to Give a Massage

After Learning How to Give a Massage

Have you ever wanted your partner to do massage like a professional without getting tired after 2 minutes?

Now you can learn the basic massage principles that massage therapists use to give a really great feeling massage without tiring your hands.

Massage could very well be the most luxurious gift to give to your loved one this Valentine's Day, especially if it's coming from your own two hands. The benefits of massage seem endless : relaxing, sensual, allows you to connect with your mate at a much deeper level, paves way for more pleasurable experiences, and more.

Massage is a great way for couples to connect with one another. It allows for partners to make each other feel good and to rejuvenate together. It can simply be a way to relieve the stress your partner has been under during the week, and it can also be a deeply intimate experience. Massage can help two people to bond without having to talk, to simply feel each other.

Say "I Love You" over and over with your TOUCH.

bulletDeep Ironing
bulletThe Cat's Paw

There are no hard and fast rules about non-therapeutic massage, just an overall guiding principle: If it feels good, and it's safe, do it.

Besides learning how to give a soothing, relaxing massage you will learn the proper methods of massage that will not leave you fatigued. Massage basics is intended to soothe all of your senses. The TOUCH of the skin and muscles is only a part of the experience.

2 Hours of professional instruction in the morning and then 90 Minutes massage time for each partner in the afternoon.

Lunch is included.

Finish by 4pm, just in time to enjoy a relaxing bath at home.

Some of the positive effects of Massage Basics:

bulletLearn to give an effective massage using proper body mechanics to avoid feeling fatigued after only a few minutes of massage.
bulletThe fulfillment of one of your most basic human needs (contact).
bulletThe satisfaction in knowing you are doing something good for your mind and body.
bulletThe reduction of the effects of stress on the body (which in turn removes your perception that you feel stressed).
bulletSofter, healthier skin -- Oil and friction removes the external layer of dry, dead skin all over your body, leaving a new layer of fresh, healthy skin!

What you will need

bulletBring a blanket, beach towel or bath towel, a set of "twin" sheet if you have them, a robe and a pillow case.
bulletWear loose comfortable clothing that is easy to slip in and out of. If you intend to keep underwear on, don't wear your best lingerie. Wear something that you are prepared to get a bit of oil on. Swimwear is also acceptable.
bulletDon't wear makeup! If you do, you may have to request that your face isn't massaged for that session. Oil and makeup don't mix.
bulletIt's a good idea to bring a bottle of drinking water.
bulletIf you have a specific scented oil that you prefer, bring it. Otherwise we will provide the oil.

For all the work we do, we need to take a greater responsibility for our own self nurturing. It really isn't a pointless indulgence to relish in a relaxing, sensory experience. It's more like insurance. To maintain good physical and emotional health, we must reduce stress. To maintain a healthy self-concept we must learn to appreciate ourselves and reward our efforts.

Take time out of your day to give yourself (or get) the tender loving care you need. You are a special person, after all.
